Sennheiser Celebrates its 20th Year in Asia by Opening a Store in Manila and Introducing New Headphones

In line with the celebration of their 20th anniversary in Asia, Sennheiser opens its flagship store in manila and introduced two new headphones – the HD 700 and the Amperior.

Sennheiser collaborated with its Philippine retailer, Digits Trading and its official consumer distributor in the country, Iontech to pave the opening of the concept store located on the 3rd floor of V-Mall in Greenhills.

“Today marks a significant moment for all of us at Sennheiser Asia. We have always recognized that the Philippines is a market with great potential in the electronics category, and we are delighted to have finally been able to create this immersive sound experience for Sennheiser fans. It is especially even more momentous to us because our first concept store in the Philippines coincides with Sennheiser Asia’s 20th year of being present in the Asian market.” said Ng Chee Soon, president and Managing Director of Sennheiser Asia.

The concept store will be the house of the entire range of Sennheiser headphones. This includes travel, sports, home entertainment, communication, street, audiophile and the DJ lines. Filipinos will surely love to experience their music in a high quality Sennheiser sound. And now that the store is open, they can choose the best Sennheiser headphones that will fit their lifestyle and needs.

Aside from the inaugural of their flagship store, Sennheiser also introduced two of their latest innovations: the HD 700 and the Amperior.

The HD 700 is hailed as the high-end headphone. Its stunning sound is complemented with an innovative and sophisticated design. It has ear cups that are designed to produces impressively natural listening experience. And its powerful neodymium magnet systems guaranteed detailed, lifelike audio reproduction from 10 to 42,000 Hz.

“The HD 700 features a perfect combination of outstanding acoustic properties and sophisticated product design,” said Steven Ang, Product Manager for Sennheiser. “It’s styling and material selection have been thought through down to the finest detail in order to fully exploit the sound potential of the acoustic unit.”

The Amperior on the other hand combines the legendary sound of Sennheiser headphones and a trendy urban style. This rugged headphones can cope with extremely high sound pressure level and offer professional-level sound. Its powerful neodymium magnets can provide natural, lifelike sound with a frequency response of 16 to 22,000 Hz.

“The Amperior lets even the most demanding music fans experience club sound wherever they go. And the luxurious aluminium finish provides that professional sound and elegant design can absolutely go together,” Steven Ang concluded.

The HD 700 that retails at Php 49,900 will be available in the country beginning this July. The Amperior on the other hand, will be available in shops in the 3rd Quarter of 2012.
