Epson Philippines Corporation (EPC) had a double celebration at the “Printer Evolution: Exceed your Expectations” event held at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Marriott Manila at the Newport City Complex, Pasay City. This special gathering is to announce their new country manager and to unveil their new and improved printers.
The New Epson Country Manager
As of July 1, 2012, Mr. Toshimitsu Tanaka, was appointed as the Country Manager of EPC. Before holding this position, Mr. Tanaka was the General Manager of Imaging Products Sales and Marketing Support Department at the Seiko Epson Corporation in Japan.
Since his initial stay in the country, Mr. Tanaka became fond of the admirable Filipino characteristic. “I have seen how strong Filipinos are – with your ready smiles even in the middle of calamities like what happened a month ago. The world looks up to your ‘bayanihan’ spirit that is present in both good and bad times,” said Mr. Tanaka. He also shared that this Filipino trait is already a good leverage in accomplishing many goals.
Mr. Tanaka also added, “I am glad that one of my very first projects as the new Country Manager of EPC is the introduction of these new and improved L-series printers for the Filipino customers. With these and other products we will offer, we hope to continue the double-digit growths in both the printer and projector business goals in the region.”
The Improved Epson Printers
Last year, Epson has introduced the L-series printers that aim to provide affordable machines without compromising the quality. This year, Epson takes it a notch higher by improving the L-series printers to provide even more reliable and more affordable printers.
The five new printers provide customers with several options in terms of speed and reliability, reduced ownership costs, and lower running cost. This is in line with Epson’s continuing commitment to exceed the expectations of their users.
“Aside from delivering the world’s lowest running cost, the new Epson L-series are made even better with faster print speed, easier installation, greater performance, and higher reliability. Most importantly, we have reduced the printer price to make them more affordable for our users. All these factors make them ideal for both corporate and SOHO users,” said Noelle Gonzales, EPC Head of Product Management.
The five new models in the Epson L-series are the: L110 and L300, both single function printers priced at PhP 5,795.00 and PhP 7,495.00 respectively; and the three multi-function printers are the L210 priced at PhP 7,795.00, the L350 is at PhP 9,295.00, and the L355′s price is yet to be announced.
