Nvidia releases its first game ever titled ‘VR Funhouse’

American tech company Nvidia on Thursday unveiled “VR Funhouse,” its first game ever on virtual reality.

“VR Funhouse” is a virtual reality game which presents players an immersive roster of arcade-style mini carnival games, designed to show the virtual prowess of Nvidia graphics.

The game is available for free on Valve’s Steam platform for entertainment title, but a user will need a $799 HTC Vive Vr system to play the game. Also, a very powerful computer is required to enjoy its full quality

Specifically, “VR Funhouse” is aimed for machines offering the latest graphics technology so having the GeForce GTX 1080 is the best option. However, the game can still run on low quality with a GTX 980 Ti, Titan X, 1060 or 1070.

With the game’s release, Nvidia is also showing what Nvidia’s Gameworks technologies could do to elevate VR experience. This is the reason why the company is opening up the game’s source code to developers.
