Riding on strong sales momentum, Lenovo bolsters lineup with new products

Legion is also releasing the Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Gaming laptop for those on the lookout for their first gaming PC. Available in either Intel Core i7 with +128GB SSD (PHP 59,995) or Intel Core i5 (PHP 49,995) variants, the IdeaPad L340 Gaming laptop is one of the most affordable devices out in the market equipped with an NVIDIA® GeForce GTX™ 1650 graphics card. Three variants of the Legion Y540 are also in the lineup. Leading them is one equipped with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 graphics card with 6GB VRAM, 1TB SSD storage, 16GB RAM, and an Intel® Core™ i7-9750H processor.

Complementing these are Legion peripherals and accessories designed to offer the complete gaming experience. One of these is the mammoth-sized Legion Y44w gaming monitor that has a 43.4-inch curved (1800R) display with a 144Hz refresh rate. All devices come with Lenovo’s 2-Year Premium Care Support, including 24/7 support from Lenovo’s senior tech resources; Zero Tolerance to Dead Pixel, a service that repairs displays even with only a single dead pixel; and 2-year onsite warranty wherein Lenovo’s staff will go directly to the customer’s location for any troubleshooting needs.

Pushing boundaries with the new IdeaPad and Yoga Ultrabooks

Alongside Legion’s role in Lenovo’s growth is the strong performance of its popular Yoga and IdeaPad lineups. The sales are mainly driven by the customer demand for thin and light devices (a 72.6% YTY increase for Lenovo), which according to IDC will continue to see mid to high single-digit shipment growth in the coming years. Known for their iconic watchband hinges and convertible features, the Yoga and IdeaPad lines are considered as among the most portable devices available.

Last year, Lenovo bid the problem of thick and bulky notebooks goodbye by refreshing its Yoga and IdeaPad lineups and turning all devices into Ultrabooks ─ powerful laptops that are on-trend and in demand as they are less than 20mm thick and weigh below 2kg. Lenovo is finally bringing the new IdeaPad and Yoga Ultrabooks in the Philippines. With a total of 16 Ultrabook models, no other company has such a large portfolio of Ultrabook devices.

A PREMIUM AND SLEEK ULTRABOOK. Those looking for a stylish and powerful device for traveling will get their money’s worth thanks to the Yoga S940’s sleek aluminum unibody, Contour Glass (first laptop in the world to have), 1.2 kg weight, and 15-hour battery life.

Headlining the new Yoga devices is the Yoga S940 (PHP 115,995). Measuring a sleek 12.2 mm and weighing only 1.2 kg, it is the world’s first laptop to have Contour Glass which wraps around the display for smoother edges that minimize the appearance of its already thin bezels. Accompanying the Yoga S940 is the Yoga S730, a device designed to be an ideal travel companion with its weight of 1.1 kg, thinness of 11.9mm, and its cooling system that pulls air through secondary vents hidden in the keyboard.

The upcoming IdeaPads, on the other hand, will be led by the IdeaPad S540, available in six variants. The most premium will come with NVIDIA® GeForce GTX™ 1650 graphics card and an Intel® Core™ i7-8565U processor (PHP 69,995). Meanwhile, multiple variants of the ultra-slim IdeaPad S340, the 2-in-1 convertible laptop IdeaPad C340, and the powerful everyday laptop IdeaPad S145 are also arriving, with higher variants coming with a Microsoft Office Perpetual bundle worth PHP 5,995.

Like the Legion devices, the new Yoga Ultrabooks will be covered under a 2-Year Premium Care Support with 24/7 support from senior tech resources and Zero Tolerance to Dead Pixel, a service that repairs displays even with only a single dead pixel. Premium Care Support also includes a 2-year onsite warranty, wherein Lenovo’s skilled and experienced technicians offering comprehensive hardware and software support will go directly to the customer’s location for any troubleshooting needs, an unmatched service unique to Lenovo for customers’ extra peace of mind.

All of the upcoming Lenovo devices were recently unveiled in a launch party in Makati City. For full specifications of the new devices, visit https://www.lenovo.com/ph/en/pc/
