Tintri unveils VMstore T5000 All-Flash series

American IT company Tintri unveiled its new VM-aware storage called Tintri VMstore T5000 All-Flash series, the first to offer up to 308TB for 5,000 virtual machines in two rack units.

The Tintri VMstore T5000 All-Flash series provides the ultimate flexibility in performance, capacity, and price with its high density 3D NAND drives and multiple capacities with expansion options.

Tintri also said that the Tintri scale-out platform will enable users to grow from a single two rack unit 17 TB all-flash system to 10 PB of all-flash in 1.5 racks, supporting up to 160,000 VMs.

The VM-aware storage promises to deliver performance isolation and per-VM quality while guaranteeing high performance and low latency across the entire flash capacity.

Meanwhile, Tintri also announced the Tintri VMstore T800 Hybrid-Flash series which aligns users’ storage needs with their business needs, putting the focus on their virtualized applications.

The Tintri VMstore T800 Hybrid-Flash series speeds performance six times to save time and packs storage 10 times more densely to save money.
