Brother International Philippines Corporation has recently launched two new innovative compactdesktop scanners, ADS-1100W (Php15,990) and ADS-1600W (Php19,990). With the introduction of this series of compact desktop scanners, Brother now offers a complete line-up of scanners including workgroup scanners and newly redesigned mobile scanners, DS-620 (Php5,990) and DS-720D (Php9,990).

To address the ever-growing need for scanning, digitizing and sharing documents, the compact desktop scanners come bundled with a complete suite of scanning software including a PDF conversion software, desktop manager, as well as business card management programs. Other advanced features such as image optimization with automatic deskew, blank page removal, automatic image rotation, and background removal to help save scanning time and maximize productivity.
Brother created the ADS-1600W to be a tremendous value for business customers, combining the economical price point and size of mobile scanners with a variety of advanced functions typically reserved for more costly desktop workgroup scanners. The ADS-1600W has a compact footprint, but is packed with advanced scanning features including simplex/duplex color scan speeds of up to 18ppm, a 20-sheet capacity auto document feeder, and web connectivity. Plus, the ADS-1600W is compatible with Windows , Mac and Linux operating systems, so it can be used in almost any SME, Workgroup or home office environment.
DS-620
The ADS-1600W can connect to a wireless network and the 2.7” color Touchscreen display lets users scan directly to popular cloud services including FACEBOOK, PICASATM, PICASA WEB ALBUMSTM, FLICKR, GOOGLE DRIVETM, EVERNOTE, DROPBOX, BOX and SKYDRIVE. Users can access a variety of scan-to destinations such as FTP, Network, E-mail Server, USB Flash DriveTM as well as scan directly to compatible mobile devices using the Brother iPrint&Scan app.

The highly versatile DS-620 and DS-720D bolster productivity with single pass duplex fast scan speeds and easily scan all types of media – from paper documents and business cards, to thicker laminated materials such as insurance cards, driver’s licenses or ID cards. Powered by USB cable, the device is also easily accessible when connected to a laptop or desktop power supply on-the-go, no battery or wall outlet required.
