Rumor has it that the next iPhone will feature a 12-megapixel main camera that is able to shoot 4K videos and 240 frames per second (fps) slow-motion videos. This rumor spreads after a Foxconn employee post on Weibo. The employee even posted what seems to be an internal documentation that discusses the camera module.
If this rumor will turn into reality, this is Apple’s first revamp in megapixel after quite some time. Apple was known for declining the megapixel game these previous years. They focus on other options that boost image quality by using other techniques.
