Twitter is ready to level-up their video services as they announced that users will now be able to post 140-second videos.
According to Twitter’s official blog post, videos have become more important in their site, with video tweets having increased by over 50% since the beginning of this year.
Jeremy Rishel also noted that sports, news, music, and other videos are becoming more viral on Twitter.
With videos becoming more important, Twitter said that they are giving more room for the users to unleash their creativity by upgrading the maximum length of the video to 140 seconds, far longer than the previous 30-second limit.
Aside from this news, they are also looking to add 140-second videos on Vine, which will turn a six second vine into a trailer for a bigger story.
