Instagram on Tuesday (December 20, 2016) announced new updates for its Stories platform.
In a blog post, the company said that users can now add stickers to Stories to provide more context and creativity to their story. By tapping a new stickers button next to the text and drawing tools, users will be able to find customizable stickers for weather, the current time, and even the location.
Instagram says that the stickers inserted on stories can be tapped by viewers to learn more about the location of the uploader.
In addition, Instagram said that it will add a new set of holiday stickers in the next few weeks while a new set of stickers will also be released for the new year.
These new updates will come along with other updates on Instagram’s photo and video platforms.
