A Russian hacking group known as ‘Turla’ has discovered a method of using Instagram to carry out its activities, and it was reported that the IG account of singer Britney Spears was used to stage their attack
In a report published by antivirus developer Eset, they discovered backdoor Trojan used comments posted to Spears’s IG account to search the control server that sends instructions and unload stolen data to and from infected computers.
Eset experts discovered a bit.ly URL hidden which linked to a domain that has been used by Turla before.
