Apple recently announced its newest update on its iMac line which will now come in up to 8-core Intel 9th-generation processors and Vega graphics options which will deliver up to 50 percent faster graphics performance.
According to Apple‘s press release, the 21.5-inch iMac now features 8th-generation quad-core and 6-core processors with 60 percent faster performance while the 27-inch iMac will come with up to 9th-generation 6-core and 8-core processors which will deliver 2.4 times faster performance.
Meanwhile, the 21.5-inch iMac will feature Radeon Pro Vega 20 graphics, delivering up to 80 percent faster graphics performance, while the 27-inch iMac will have 50 percent faster graphics performance with Radeon Pro Vega 48.
The 21.5-inch iMac will also have a revamped 4K Retina display and the bigger iMac with Retina 5K display.
The new 21.5-inch iMac retail starts at $1,299 and the new 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display starts at $1,799. The non-Retina display iMac remains at $1,099.
