Canon celebrated its 20th anniversary in the Philippines on Thursday (January 19, 2017).

We were able to get this far because of their trust on us in helping them achieve their imaging and printing needs through our expertise in technology,” said Canon Marketing Philippines Inc. President & CEO Lim Kok Hin.
To mark this special milestone, CMPI announced several products, promos and plans that Filipinos can expect in this year.
For 2017, CMPI said that Filipinos can expect several new offerings including the high-tech PowerShot G9 X Mark II, designed for lifestyle photographers.
The PowerShot G9 X Mark II serves as an addition to the premium PowerShot G Series line of digital compact cameras. It is equipped with the latest DIGIC 7 image processor to produce high-quality images and new levels of performance for accurate detection and precision tracking of subjects.
Aside from this, CMPI is also offering other high-quality products including the PowerShot SX430 IS, IXUS 190, IXUS 185, PIXMA Ink Efficient G4000 printer with WIFI & FAX, and the All-In-One printers PIXMA Ink Efficient E410 and E470.
Meanwhile, CMPI also announced new assignments and additions to its local management team. Kristine Dacanay, previously CMPI’s Marketing Manager for Business Imaging Solutions and Production Printing Group (BPG), is now CMPI’s Marketing Communications Manager. On the other hand, Benny Yu joins CMPI as the new head of CMPI’s Consumer Group.
CMPI also introduced other key personalities including its Head for Business Imaging Solutions and Print Production Group Jojo Bolima, Director for Business Imaging Solutions (Corp. Group) Vinchy Sanchez, and Director for CSP (Consumer Printers) Richard Ordonez.
