Emerson Network Power Opens Regional Customer Experience Center in Southeast Asia

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson and a global leader in maximizing availability, capacity and efficiency of critical infrastructure, today announced the opening of a new state-of-the-art Customer Experience Center in Singapore. This facility will serve as the regional hub for data center planning and validation in Southeast Asia, where each customer will have a unique experience based on their data center needs supported by Emerson’s technical and service experts.

The Customer Experience Center reflects Emerson Network Power’s ongoing commitment to enable business-critical continuity in light of the increasingly evolving information communication and technology (ICT) landscape. The facility is purpose built not only to address the most common data center challenges, but also to give customers the opportunity to experience the most advanced technology available to enable them to respond to future business challenges.

This philosophy is applied in the Customer Experience Center, where our customers can visit to experience our leading solutions for data centers, be it big or small,” said Anand Sanghi, president, Emerson Network Power in Asia. “Think of the center as a mini lab where our customers can touch, see and feel our integrated solutions. It is a place where we can provide them with a holistic view of all the biggest challenges that they find in their businesses and how our solutions address these challenges. It really gives us an ability to provide real time insights into power, space and cooling to manage capacity, reduce risk, and optimize performance.”

The facility itself is divided into two main areas: the Network Operating Center and the main Data Center facility. At the Network Operating Center, customers can witness a live demonstration of the Trellis platform, Emerson’s award-winning DCIM solution that provides real-time visibility into data center performance. This solution provides a single, secure, browser-based interface to manage and monitor both IT and facility assets in a data center. The main data center facility features the SmartAisle™ solution, an intelligent row-based system that integrates data center racks, power, row cooling, aisle containment, monitoring and control technologies, optimizing infrastructure deployment and management.

Customers will greatly benefit from the SmartAisle’s flexible design, allowing it to be deployed in any size of IT environment from a row of racks to large enterprise data centers. Moreover, the solution’s energy efficient features reduces energy consumption by up to 27 percent compared to conventional data center design.

The facility also contains other Emerson Network Power solutions, including the Liebert APM, a compact row-based uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solution and the Liebert CRV, which provides high capacity cooling in a small footprint.
