Social networking giant Facebook unveiled its newest dating app called Facebook Dating which lets users connect and find potential relationships among their friends.
In a report by engadget.com, users could let Facebook know their ‘secret crushes’ by selecting up to 9 people from their Facebook friends list whom they might be interested with.
The selected users will then receive a notification that someone included them on their crush list if he or she too is signed up on Facebook Dating.
If two users list each other on their secret crush list, both will get notified and will be matched.
However, if the person listed on secret crush is not enrolled on Facebook Dating, it will remain a ‘secret’.
Among the first countries to experience Facebook Dating are Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Canada and Thailand, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Suriname.
