Google has released a statement, advising users to update their google chrome browser as soon as it announced a vulnerability that attackers are “actively exploiting”.
According to a report by Engadget, users are advised to update their Chrome and install version 72.0.3626.121 to make sure they are safe from exploitation.
Google also mentioned a bug being used to attack Windows operating system which will affect people running Windows 7 32-bit systems and encouraged users to upgrade to a newer version of the OS.
In a series of tweets, Chrome security researcher Justin Schuh disclosed the vulnerability, saying: “Last week we got to deal with a real 0day chain and a faux 0day at the same time. I wonder which one will get more attention? “
