Google announces new HP Chromebook for schools

Google is set to launch a new Chromebook device for schools to help students in their education.

In a blog post, the company announced the HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 Education Edition, which will be released in mid-April. As explained by Google, the device is a rugged 360 degree convertible that comes with USB-CTM charging, optional stylus, and world-facing camera capabilities designed to fit classroom’s specific needs.

“The role of technology in education will continue to grow in 2017 as students and teachers share their stories of digital success across the world,” Google wrote in its blog post.

Google also revealed that creative apps on Chromebooks are now available in some European countries while Chromebook administrators can now approve Android app libraries and install them on select Chromebooks.
