Google’s in-house incubator, Area 120, has introduced Game Builder, a free and easy to use tool ‘which can let gamers build their own 3D games without worrying about codes.
In a blog published by Google, Game Builder works through drag-and-drop, card-based visual programming system in order to build Minecraft-style games but users could also be improved through building their own cards with JavaScript.
Game Builder also features a co-op mode which lets players build a game together and even play together while working on it. Users could also browse games created by others and share their own 3D creations.
The project is available on both PC and macOS through Valve’s Steam platform.
