After Xiaomi released Mi Notebook Air to rival Apple’s Mac laptops, Lenovo is releasing a new laptop called Air 13 Pro to compete with Xiaomi’s new creation.
The Air 13 Pro is a Windows 10 laptop that is very similar to the Mi Notebook Air in terms of specs and price. Some of its notable features are a 13.3-inch Full HD screen display; Intel Core i5 or i7 Skylake processor; up to 8GB of RAM; up to 512GB SSD; 2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX940MX GPU; and a Fingerprint sensor.
The new Lenovo laptop comes with two different models – one with 8GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, and an i7 processor and one with 4GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and an i5 processor.
Both models are available for preoder at a price of RMB 4,999 or $750 but when they become officially available, the stronger model will cost RMB 6,999 ($1,052) while the lower-end version will cost RMB 5,499 ($827).
It remains to be seen if Lenovo plans to launch the Air 13 Pro outside China.
