Mayor Vico Sotto has been one of the politicians that most netizens have had a positive reaction to when it comes to his efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19. One of his most recent efforts is the implementation of disinfectant drones to spray disinfectants. This is to prevent further spread of the virus.
While these drones were created for spraying pesticides in farms, Mayor Vico saw an opportunity to convert it into one of the frontline fighters in the pandemic.
The DJI MG-1P is an octocopter drone with a ten-liter payload. It is estimated to cost around P1 million.
