Microsoft is reportedly working on a stripped-down ‘Windows Lite’ OS for devices with dual screens as well as Chromebook-like devices.
In an article published by The Verge, sources said that Microsoft is developing “Windows Lite”, a more stripped-down version of Windows targeted to dual-screen devices as and the competitors of google’s Chromebooks.
Petri’s Brad Sams shared a photo of the Windows Lite’s mock-up which shows the interface of the new OS, with the OOBE (Out of Box Experience) reportedly similar to that of Windows 10.
However, the mock up which The Verge described as ‘accurate’ could still be changed by the time it ships.
Details about the Windows Lite OS including its shipping and its final name are yet to be revealed and confirmed.
