Netflix announced on Wednesday (November 30, 2016) that its users worldwide can finally download series and films for offline viewing on smartphones.
“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited,” Eddy Wu, Director of Product Innovation, wrote in a Netflix blog post.
According to Netflix, many of the popular streaming series and films are already available for download, such as Orange is The New Black, Narcos, and The Crown.
Netflix advises iOS and Android users to make sure that their Netflix app is updated to the latest version in order to download series or films.
