Spotify Premium’s new and existing subscribers in the US can now have free subscription to Hulu’s ad-supported plan.
According to a report by theverge.com, Hulu lowered the cost of its ad-supported plan which ow costs $5.99 a month following Netflix’s recent price hike, and is now included in Spotify Premium.
Spotify users who pay $9.99 per month can now sign up by activating Hulu on the “Your Services” page within account settings. Users who subscribed to Hulu through Spotify will automatically save $3 per month while those who first subscribed to Hulu before having a Spotify account must cancel their billing through Hulu and set it up through Spotify to avail the discount.
However, the new promotion restricts users from adding premium channels like Showtime or HBO to their accounts and excludes users signed up in a family plan.
The promo will run until June 10th, 2019 or while supplies last for users in the US.
