Apple seems to be the leading smartphone brand among teens in the United States as a survey showed that 82% of the 6000 teenage participants aged 16.4 in average own an iPhone.
As reported by Techspot.com, Piper Jaffray’s bi-annual ‘Taking Stock With Teens’ survey found out that teens owning an Apple smartphone are increasing based on previous survey where only 78% were iPhone owners.
Not only is iPhone being well patronized by American teens as most users also express loyalty to the brand with 84% of the participants saying they would purchase an iPhone as their next mobile device.
Despite being the leading smartphone device among teens, 91% of US customers has a higher loyalty rating to Android operating system compared to iOS with 86% as reported by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners last month.
