Leigh Anne Arthur, an engineering teacher of Union County was asked to resign after her nude photo was copied and shared by her student. Arthur explained that she left her phone in class to monitor the halls.
A 16-year old student allegedly checked her phone, found the nude photo and photographed it and shared it online.
Union County High School in Union South Carolina asked Arthur to resign or face due process procedure. Arthur allegedly chose to resign.
The school said Arthur was partly to blame for not keeping the picture secure and private. Arthur said the photo was created as a Valentine’s Day gift for her husband.
The teenager has been charged with computer crime and voyeurism.
