In an official blog post, Niall Kennedy, Developer Advocate of Twitter announced that users can now highlight Twitter-hosted video on their respective website through the new embedded video widget.
With this new feature, video embeds are now available for videos captured and uploaded on Twitter app for iOS, Android, and Twitter Amplify partners. This feature is enhanced by the same JavaScript used to render Tweet buttons and embedded Tweets.
To embed a video, users can simply click on the ••• icon on the tweet and choose the “Embed Video” option. They can then copy and paste the generated HTML markup on their website.
