YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki announced in a blog post that Youtube has 1.5 billion logged in viewers visit YouTube every single month. Wojcicki also added that Youtube viewers spend over an hour a day watching YouTube on mobile devices alone.
Wojcicki also added the commitment of Youtube to VR video by introducing a new format called VR180 that delivers 3-D video while capturing 180-degrees around the user. The new format is in collaboration between YouTube and Daydream
