BIR files charges against Ensogo and CashCashPinoy

Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) files tax evasion charges against CashCashPinoy and Ensogo for allegedly failure to pay the correct taxes from year 2011 to 2014.

BIR files a criminal complaint against Ensogo’s President, Krit Srivorakul and Densogo’s treasurer, Xelyne de Lara. The company is said to submit its ITR and VAR returns via electronic filing and payment system (eFPS) but fail to remit the corresponding taxes amounting to P36 million.

With the complaint against CashCashPinoy on the other hand, BIR filed charges against Moonline Inc.’s President, Frederic Levy and Moonline Inc.’s treasurer, Bernadeth Levy. Moonline Inc. is the company behind the CashCashPinoy website. The company was assessed to owe BIR more than P132 million.

The charges were filed after the failure of the defendant to answer notices to settle their respective tax liabilities sent to them since 2010.
