Game developers to integrate live PC game streaming on Facebook through programming kit

Facebook is set to make PC game live streaming easier as the giant company officially announced a programming kit that will allow developers to enable game streaming technology into their titles.

During the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, Facebook announced that game developers could soon stream live games to the site without the need to install a software.

Facebook is also set to offer free in-game rewards for viewers who watch live broadcasts through their platform.

Details about how the streaming will work are yet to be released.

Sites such as Twitch and YouTube are currently the main platforms of live stream games.
