Chinese tech company Huawei is stepping up its smartphone game this 2019 as it is set to launch its 5G-capable, first ever foldable device.
According to a report by theverge.com, Huawei will debut its 5G foldable smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2019 which will be held in Barcelona on February 24, prior to Samsung’s release of its own foldable device.
Huawei posted a tweet, teasing about the launching of its newest device and wrote: “Come with us to explore #ConnectingTheFuture LIVE from #MWC @GSMA. Are you ready to reveal the unprecedented? #HuaweiMWC #MWC2019”

Though the has been no official images of Huawei’s foldable phone, tech site LetsGoDigital released some renders of what the device could possibly look like.
