Department of nformation and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Rodolfo Salalima has resigned from his post. In a report by GMA-7 24 Oras, Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella confirmed that Salalima has submitted his resignation letter citing personal and work-related reasons for his decision.
“Secretary Rodolfo A. Salalima of the DICT has tendered his letter of resignation to the President, citing personal and work-related reasons,” said Abella.
Prior to becoming the first DICT chief, Salalima used to be Globe’s Senior Vice President for Corporate and Regulatory Affairs and the president of the Philippine Chamber of Telecommunications Operators, Inc. (PCTO).
