The country’s leading telecom and digital services provider recently concluded the 8th PLDT HOME DSL Broadband Quiz Finals at the SM Megamall Event Center. The cyber athletes who were declared winners of the Philippines largest online academic competition were awarded plaques, medals, cash prizes and computer packages after scoring highest among other finalists who competed. The competition is a major event of PLDT’s Infoteach Outreach Program aimed to promote school-based digital literacy skills education. PLDT HOME DSL Broadband Quiz pits some 20 schools divisions under the Department of Education, with 105 teachers and 249 students competing at the division level and 17 teachers and 34 students vying in the regional level.
