Acer launches slew of new devices at the IFA 2016

The recently-concluded IFA 2016 was a busy affair for Acer as the company unveiled a huge line-up of new devices including high-end laptops, smartphones, and notebooks for consumers.

First, the company launched a new high-end gaming laptop called Acer Predator 21 X. The device has a curved 21-inch IPS display (2560×1080), 7th Gen Intel Core chips, two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphic cards, and a Tobii eye-tracking technology. The laptop is marketed as a device that will provide intense gaming experience to avid gamers.

Acer also used the IFA stage to announce its new Chromebook R 13, a 13.3-inch convertible with Full HD display and strong touch capabilities. The device is notable for its capability to change into four different modes – Laptop mode, Display mode, Tent mode, and Pad mode.

If you want a powerful but compact mini PC, Acer has you covered as well with its new Revo Base device. This gadget packs Intel Core i7 chips and 8GB of DDR3L system memory into its small frame, giving it the ability to handle intensive tasks smoothly.

Smartphones are also part of Acer’s diverse line of introduced products at the IFA. The company introduced three new affordable Android smartphones in Iconia Talk S, Liquid Z6, and Liquid Z6 Plus. The aforementioned handsets are all powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow and designed for integrating personal and professional lives on the go.

To cap off the busy IFA 2016, Acer also announced new Spin convertible notebooks (Spin 7, Spin 5, Spin 3, Spin 1), Pawbo+ interactive wireless pet camera, and the first shipment of StarVR Virtual Reality Head-Mounted Displays to IMAX corporation.
