• Lenovo’s #CitizensofTMRW campaign to define the home, workplace and classroom of tomorrow through user-generated ideas
Lenovo, the leading global technology brand, today launched a region-wide campaign that will preview how we will work, play, learn and create in the future.
The #CitizensOfTMRW initiative kicks off in the Philippines through a special microsite – www.lenovo.citizensoftmrw.com – which allows visitors to become a “citizen of tomorrow” by imagining and assembling their dream device of the future through a simple and quick seven-step process.
When designing their device, users can choose from over a variety of form factors, material, input and output options, enabling them to customize every major detail to their personal preference and specification.
Once they build their dream device, they need to explain – in 30 words or less – how it would enhance and add value to their life as a worker, creator, student or gamer. They will then be invited to share their unique creation with their friends, family and colleagues on social media.
Those who successfully upload and share their creations will receive a “digital passport” to join Lenovo and their fellow citizens at an interactive #CitizensOfTMRW roadshow at SM Megamall Fashion Hall in Ortigas, Pasig City, where they can redeem gifts and get the chance to win a special prize.
The roadshow – set to take place from September 22 to 24 – promises to take the experience to the next level.
“The greatest thing about the Citizens of TMRW is that you don’t need to be an engineer, designer, or IT expert to tell us what the future holds for technology,” said Lenovo Philippines Country General Manager Michael Ngan. “At Lenovo, our view is that the best technology is inclusive, not exclusive, and that inspiration can come from anyone, anywhere, and at any time.
Through the campaign, Lenovo looks forward to seeing which of these ideas have the power to shape the future of workplaces, homes and classrooms around the world. The campaign is also a reflection of the company’s customer centric approach, which has yielded some of the most popular products and solutions to date.
