Huawei boasts newest smartphone P20 Pro’s triple-camera feature

A dual rear camera set-up would already be impressive for a smartphone but Huawei has something better to boast about as they launched their newest P20 Pro featuring a triple rear-facing camera set-up.

Techspot.com reported that the Chinese company unveiled their flagship in Paris that has the “world’s first” Leica triple camera system.

The camera set up features a Leica 3x telephoto lens (VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.6-2.4/27-80ASPH) with a 40-megapixel RGB sensor, a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and a multiple aperture of f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 with an 8-megapixel sensor.

The front camera meanwhile has a 24-megapixel, f/20 aperture feature.

The Huawei P20 Pro beat leading competitors such as the Apple iPhone X, the Google Pixel 2, and the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus after gaining an overall photo score of 109 and a photo sub-score of 114 points.
