Vivo just unveiled its newest smartphone phone Nex which is bezel-less with a 91.24 percent screen-to-body ratio and also features a pop-up camera which rises and retracts inside the body.
Ina report by Techspot.net, the Nex phone with 6.59-inch screen has the highest screen-to-body ratio ever seen on a phone, better that Lenovo’s Z5 with 90 percent.
The 8MP selfie camera meanwhile is hidden inside the body which pops up and retracts back in a matter of two seconds when activated.
Nex is also boasting its 12 MP rear camera with a f/1.8 lens sitting alongside a 5 MP f/2.4 module.
Aside from the screen and camera, Nex is also equipped with a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 2244 x 1080 AMOLED panel, and a 4,000mAh battery.
It also features Vivo’s Screen SoundCasting hardware which turns the display into a speaker with its glass-vibrating technology, improving the audio with more powerful bass and smoother treble according to Vivo.
Vivo Nex will be out in China later this year with the price of 4,998 yuan (around $780).
