Google to unveil Pixel 4 in October

Google is expected to launch its Pixel 4 smartphone as it sent invitation to some members of the press for a “Made by Google” event this coming October 15.

According to a report by CNN Business, the said event typically introduces new products as Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, the Home Hub and a new Chromebook were launched last year’s “Made by Google.”

Google earlier released some details about its new Pixel 4 after numerous leaks made rounds online. The company showed a phone with a large, square camera bump on the back of the device.

While previous Pixel smartphones had one rear camera amid other devices featuring two, three and four in some cases, the Pixel 4 is rumored to have a a second camera which is a telephoto lens capable of zooming in on subjects. Meanwhile, the main camera will reportedly take fast-action pictures and will have an improved “Night Sight” feature for low light scenes.

Google also revealed that the Pixel 4 will come in interesting features including motion sensing technology and face unlock feature which is similar to Apple’s Face ID feature.

Thhe new Google phone is expected to have a bigger 6 GB of RAM as compared to Pixel 3’s 4GB after consumers complained about the lack of RAM in previous Pixel phones which lead to slower phone speeds.

Hands-free gestures will also come in the Pixel 4 which will most likely be powered by the phone’s motion sensors.

The Pixel 4 is expected to come in black, white and coral.
