Apple Watch wins design award at MWC 2015

In the event of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, a major trade show for the smartphone industry, Apple Watch has won the most prestigious design award. Even though it’s not yet release it has already impressed the crowd. As stated from the award jury:

“The idea of combining classic materials such as leather and metal with state-of-the-art technology to create a very individual fashion accessory has resulted in a delightful product offering a holistic user experience. The Apple Watch scores highly for each design detail and is an altogether extraordinary piece of design. For us, it is already an icon.”

“Apple’s first-generation Watch is not yet perfect,” Neil Mawston said, a strategic analyst executive director.Although their first generation of smartwatch will not be perfect as other competitors he already proclaimed Apple will become the “world’s number one smartwatch vendor”. He added:

“For example, Apple’s Watch hardware design is arguably less attractive than some rival models such as the Huawei Watch, battery life may not be as long as many traditional wristwatch owners are used to, and Apple’s premium pricing may be challenging for mass-market consumers,” Mawston explained. “Apple will need to upgrade tangibly its second-generation Watch to stay ahead of competitors later this year.”

Apple fans are excited to the expected launch of the Apple watch this April. The company will keep releasing further details for their loyal fans.
