The final speaker was Mr. Anton Lacson, president of Aikontech, the official distributor of Beltone in the Philippines. Mr. Anton gave a presentation regarding the financing programs of Aikontech that are aimed to assist both the resellers and their patients in their financial requirements.
A breakout session was the stand-out part of the event since it gave the participants to go on different booths that discusses specific topics simultaneously. There were three booths that covered the different aspects of Beltone. The first booth was the New Product Portfolio which was handled by Mr. Naresh Durisala and Ms. Leilani Bernardo; the second booth was facilitated by Mr. Chidam Chellapan, Ms. Julie Mendoza and Mr. Edward Giron, where they presented Wireless Technology, Software and Apps; and the third booth talked about Marketing and Financing as organized by Ms. Vivian Ho and Mr. Anton Lacson.
The event closed gracefully with buffet dinner and a raffle for the attendees.
Early this year, WSI signed an agreement to distribute Beltone in the Philippines as Beltone’s objective and Store Concept fits WSI’s distribution model of partnering with resellers. WSI utilized its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aikontech Hearing, to handle the distribution of Beltone hearing aids and accessories and to operate its only hearing clinic in Gateway Mall, Quezon City, as a showcase of the Beltone products and processes, as well as a training center for its resellers.
