Facebook launches game streaming hub ‘Fb.gg’

As Twitch has undoubtedly been leading the game streaming industry, Facebook is continuously making efforts to compete with streaming companies as the social networking company reportedly launched ‘Fb.gg’, a streaming hub especially created for gamers.

According to a report by Techspot.com, Facebook launched the streaming hub that lets users discover gaming streams easier, including that of Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, and Minecraft.

Fb.gg’s homepage is similar to Twitch’s where users are given a navigation menu on the left where they have an option to view the default active stream “grid” or search game streams.

The streaming hub has around 10 thousand active streams with hundreds of thousands of views in total as of writing according to the report despite its viewer numbers that is still far from Twitch and YouTube Live’s audience.
