Google confirmed that Android 8.0 will be known by the nickname Oreo. This is the only the second time Google used a commercial nickname for Android, the first one was Kitkat way back 2013 – and now Oreo.
On its blog, the company said the new OS comes with new features like picture-in-picture and Autofill to help you navigate tasks seamlessly.
It will also have stronger security protections and speed improvements that keep you safe and moving at lightspeed.
