Google is finally launching Android 7.0 Nougat

The wait is finally over as Google announced that it is launching the Android 7.0 Nougat, its newest operating system.

According to Android Developers Blog, the Nougat will start rolling out to users of Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C, and Android One through over-the-air software update. In addition, devices registered in the Android Beta Program will also get the Nougat’s final version.

For those who use other Android-powered devices, they will still have to wait for their device’s manufacturer and their carrier to bring the operating system update.

The Android Nougat is expected to bring a bunch of new updates like improved Bundled Notifications feature, Data Saver, faster installation of apps and cleaner Recents menu.

Furthermore, the Nougat is also bringing a virtual reality mode, which will work best on devices powerful enough to support the technology.
