Google will use Android OS for Virtual Reality

In today’s era, Virtual Reality will be the next gen of gaming experience and will be given attention to by the top tech companies.

After Sony revealed their VR headset called the “project Morpheus”, Facebook purchased the Oculus VR worth $US2 billion, Google has their own low-tech virtual-reality viewer called “Google Cardboard.”

Google will focus on Android operating system to operate the VR applications. The company has now assembled a team of engineers “tens of engineers” to work in their project. The team working on Android for virtual reality is led by Clay Bavor and Jeremy Doig.

Details about the operating system will be discuss until the end of May. Fans from all over the world are excited for Google’s plans for virtual reality.
