After securing the exclusive Nokia brand licensing rights in late 2016, HMD Global launched the Nokia 6, its first Nokia-branded smartphone.
According to the Finnish company, the Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch full HD screen wrapped in 2.5D Gorilla Glass, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. HMD Global also said that the Nokia 6 will run on Android Nougat.
HMD Global notes that the Nokia 6 “marks the first step in HMD’s ambition to set a new standard in design, material quality and manufacturing innovation across every tier of its products by building on the hallmarks of a true Nokia phone experience.”
The Nokia 6 will launch exclusively in China in early 2017.
