HP creates a new milestone as it unveils its latest print technologies in an event held at Beijing, China. The company launches the technology for the world’s most secure printers, new ScanJets scanners, new LaserJets multi-function printers (MFPs) and printers powered by JetIntelligence.
The new enterprise class LaserJet printers launched by HP offers an increased protection against malicious attacks. These printers come with the HP SureStart that enables the detection of and self-healing recovery from malicious BIOS attacks. This technology is partnered with the Run-time Instrusion Detection that provides in-device memory monitoring for malicious attacks.
These new features will be a standard on new HP LaserJet Enterprise printers and OfficeJet Enterprise X printers. These can also be enabled on several HP LaserJet Enterprise printers that have been delivered since April via firmware update.
HP also launches new ScanJet scanners that simplify digitization for greater productivity. This includes the HP ScanJet Pro 2500f1 Flatbed Scanner and the HP ScanJet Pro 3500f1 Flatbed Scanner. These new ScanJets can digitize documents, graphics and photos with up to 1200 dpi resolution more quickly and more easily to multiple destinations. Both of these come with the new HP Scan software that will greatly improve the user-experience with one-button scan settings for recurring tasks on the control panel. The HP ScanJet Pro 2500f1 Flatbed will be available in October 2015 while the HP ScanJet Pro 3500f1 will be available in November 2015.
Last but not the least are the new HP LaserJet printers such as the HP LaserJet Pro M402 series, a monochrome printer that is great for compact work spaces; the HP Color LaserJet Pro M452 series that delivers best-in-class color printing performance; the HP LaserJet pro MFP M426 series that offers fast, dual-scanning and support for document workflows such as emai, folder, USB and cloud capabilities; and the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477 series that offers fast, dual-sided scanning and best-in-class color printing performance. All of these models will be available by October 2015.
Along with the launch of these new printers, HP also extends the innovation of Original HP Toner cartridges with JetIntelligence to customers needing monochrome printing with the addition of precision black toner. The toner cartridge has been re-engineered to work smarter than ever before, delivering more pages with fewer interventions.
