Twitter, one of the leading social media platforms today with more than 288 million users across the world is being targeted by the Islamic terrorist of Iran and Syria.
Twitter Inc with the help of law enforcements authorities is now taking actions to investigate the threats made by ISIS group.
The threat messages were posted on the anonymous website called Justpaste.it and it says “Your virtual war on us will cause a real war on you,” the threat reads, according to a translation from BuzzFeed. The message continues, “You started this failed war. We told you from the beginning it’s not your war, but you didn’t get it and kept closing our accounts on Twitter, but we always come back.”
In the statement, Twitter said only: “Our security team is investigating the veracity of these threats with relevant law enforcement officials.” Dorsey was tweeting to his almost 2.9 million followers Sunday night but did not note the alleged threat.
