After Pebble introduce their next-generation smartwatches, the company announced a new watch called “Pebble Time Steel”.
The Pebble Time Steel sports a new design that looks more classy, professional looking and the latest feature includes a new timeline, color display, and a battery that can last up to 10 days.
The Pebble’s CEO also introduced a system called “Smartstrap” for developers to be able to add additional third-party applications including sensors and GPS.
The company promised that the watch will be simplier and will have a more user-friendly UI for users to interact easier. “Sensors and GPS modules just make the watch bigger,” Pebble founder and CEO Eric Migicovsky told. “In the end we couldn’t decide what to put in. So we’re letting manufacturers decide.”
