Microsoft is reportedly unveiling its newest Xbox One S which will come without a disc drive in mid-April and is expected to be available in stores in May.
In a report published by theverge.com, Microsoft is rumored to be creating an option of shipping the the disc-less Maverick console dubbed as “Xbox One S All-Digital Edition” with games pre-installed which owners can choose beforehand.
The disc-less Xbox One S is expected to be designed for digital copies of games with a cheaper price as compared to the existing Xbox One S, considering the removal of the Blu-ray drive.
The console will also be designed for services like the Xbox Game Pass that delivers more than 100 Xbox games digitally.
Details on the disc-less Xbox One S were first unveiled last November 2018.
