Microsoft Corporation is reported to announce job cuts due to a major global sales reorganization. According to source, the company would lay off “thousands” of staff across the world.
In an article published by Bloomberg, the reorganization was due to the change of focus – instead of buying softwares for desktop, Microsoft will shift its focus on convincing customers to sign up for cloud services hosted in Microsoft’s datacenters.
Microsoft has not yet issued any statement regarding the said report.
