A new cyber attack classified as a ‘ransomware’ hit Ukraine and has spread across the world like UK, Spain and India. Initial reports indicated that the attack may be functioning like the ‘Wannacry’ attack that crippled systems all over the world.
Companies like the Danish shipping giant Maersk and the British advertising company WPP were reportedly hit by the new attack.
Authorities and security experts are aware of the said incident and is monitoring closely the situation.
