Nokia reportedly working on two high-end Android smartphones

We might see the once dominant Nokia phones again in the near future as a report revealed that two high-end Android powered Nokia devices are currently being developed.

According to NokiaPowerUser, HMD Global, the company that acquired the Nokia brand from Microsoft last May, is said to be working on two Android handsets which will feature premium metallic design and the famous Nokia feel.

Both smartphones will be powered by the upcoming Android Nougat.

Other rumored specifications of the two phones include a fingerprint scanner, a high sensitive camera sensor based on Nokia’s research with Graphene material and Nokia’s Z-launcher interface.

Also, the two phones will be resistant to dust and water as both are being created under the “Sturdy and Robust” brand image.

In terms of screen size, the smaller version will feature a 5.2-inch screen display while the larger one will feature a display size of 5.5 inch. Both phones will likely have a QHD resolution OLED display.

The two, along with possibly one or two other phones are rumored to be released by the end of this year but launch date may be adjusted to early part of 2017.
